It features durable brass coalescing media and includes a 1/2 inch FPT bottom tapping, making it compatible with boiler fill fittings. Constructed with rugged polyphenylsulfone (PPSU) coalescing media, this air separator can withstand the challenges of heating systems, including exposure to petroleum-based cleaners, glycol antifreeze, and temperatures up to 240°F. Additionally, it is resistant to methanol-based antifreeze solutions used in ground-source heat pump loops. One of the standout features of the AS-MB Series is its flexibility in installation. There is no minimum inlet or outlet piping length required for proper operation, simplifying the installation process.
